Summary
This study compares two surgical methods to treat peri-implantitis, a gum infection around dental implants. One method smooths the implant surface, while the other uses an air-abrasive device to clean it. The goal is to see which approach better controls infection and preserves the implant over one year. The study involves 45 adults with infected implants.
