First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests two methods for cleaning infected dental implants (peri-implantitis) in 60 adults. One method uses an electric current (electrolytic approach), the other uses hydrogen peroxide. Both are followed by bone grafting to repair damage. The goal is to see which cleaning method better controls the infection and helps bone heal.
