First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at how well gums around dental implants heal from inflammation. It compares implants that were smoothed down (implantoplasty) to those that were not. Thirty adults with previously treated gum disease around implants will be monitored for signs of bleeding and plaque. The goal is to see which approach leads to better healing.
