Summary
This study looked at how people with gum disease around dental implants (peri-implant diseases) perceive their condition and how it affects their daily life and well-being. Researchers recruited 148 adults with at least one dental implant and signs of gum inflammation. Participants answered two questionnaires about their illness perception and oral health-related quality of life. No treatment or follow-up was provided; the goal was simply to gather information.
