Summary
This study tests a procedure called cordotomy to reduce severe pain in people with advanced cancer. Using a needle guided by CT scans, doctors target nerves in the spinal cord to block pain signals. The trial includes 27 adults with uncontrolled pain on one side of the body below the shoulder. The goal is to see if this approach can safely lower pain intensity.
