NCT ID NCT07367243
First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at how percussive massage therapy (like using a massage gun) affects the structure of calf muscles in healthy people aged 18 to 30. Forty participants will be randomly assigned to receive the massage or be in a control group. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure muscle thickness, angle, and fiber length before and after the treatment. The goal is to better understand the immediate effects of this popular therapy on muscle architecture.
