NCT ID NCT07307014

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a single session of percussion massage can quickly improve neck movement and reduce pain sensitivity in people with nonspecific neck pain. Thirty adults with moderate neck pain were randomly assigned to receive either real percussion massage or a sham (fake) treatment. The main goal was to see if the massage led to immediate improvements in how far they could move their neck and how much pressure caused pain.
