Summary
This study looks at whether a device called PhysioStim, which uses pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF), can improve bone healing after ankle or hindfoot fusion surgery. Researchers reviewed the medical records of 200 adults who had the surgery and used the stimulator. They checked how many people had successful bone fusion 6 months later.
