First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy drug) to radiation therapy can help shrink tumors and slow cancer growth in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. 124 participants received either stereotactic or conventional radiation along with the drug. The goal was to find the best dose and see how well the combination works, with a focus on tumors outside the radiation area.
