Summary
This study tested a drug called pembrolizumab in 65 people with malignant mesothelioma, a rare cancer of the lining around the lungs or abdomen. The drug works by helping the body's immune system attack cancer cells. The goal was to see if it could shrink tumors or slow the disease, especially in patients who had already tried other treatments.
