First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding two targeted drugs (pembrolizumab and bevacizumab) to standard chemotherapy can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth in people with advanced non-squamous lung cancer that has a specific EGFR exon 20 insertion mutation. The trial enrolled 54 adults whose cancer had spread and could not be surgically removed. Researchers measured how many patients responded to treatment and how long they lived without the cancer getting worse.
