Bacteria bombs target Hard-to-Treat tumors in new cancer trial

Summary
This early-phase study tests a special bacteria (Clostridium novyi-NT) injected directly into tumors, combined with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab, for people with advanced solid tumors that haven't responded to standard treatments. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if this combination can shrink or control the cancer. Up to 18 participants will take part at one center.
