Fewer X-Ray views may speed up pelvic surgery without added risk

NCT ID NCT07571798

First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at two different X-ray techniques used during surgery to place screws in the pelvis after a serious injury. The goal is to see if using just two X-ray views is as safe and fast as the standard three-view method. Sixteen adults with pelvic fractures will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques. Researchers will measure surgery time, radiation exposure, screw placement accuracy, and nerve problems after surgery.
