First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looked at whether stretching the pelvic floor muscles can reduce pain and improve quality of life in postmenopausal women with chronic pelvic pain. Sixty women between 45 and 55 years old took part. The researchers measured pain levels and quality of life using standard questionnaires. The goal was to see if a non-drug, stretching approach could help manage this common condition.
