First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a small plug placed in the veins (endovascular plug embolization) can reduce long-term pelvic pain in women with Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. 44 women took part. The goal was to see how quickly pain improved after the procedure. This is a minimally invasive treatment that may offer relief without major surgery.
