New Pain-Relieving dressing may speed healing after HS surgery

NCT ID NCT07316192

First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at two wound dressings used after surgery for hidradenitis suppurativa, a painful skin condition. The newer dressing contains silver to fight bacteria and lidocaine to ease pain. Researchers want to see if it helps wounds heal faster and reduces the need for strong painkillers compared to the standard dressing. About 10 adults having surgery will be followed.
