Summary
This study tested a drug called pegvisomant in children with gigantism, a rare condition caused by too much growth hormone. The goal was to see if daily injections could safely control hormone levels, slow excessive growth, and improve symptoms like headaches and fatigue. It involved 12 children and adolescents over a 60-week period.
