First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests a new version of a common laxative (PEG) to see if it works better and tastes better than the standard one for children with functional constipation. About 52 kids aged 6 months to 18 years will take one of the two formulas for 8 weeks. Researchers will track how often they poop, stool consistency, and any side effects.
