Can a friend help you move? new program pairs Parkinson's patients to fight inactivity
NCT ID NCT06170866
Summary
This study tested whether a culturally adapted program could help older Latino adults with Parkinson's disease get more exercise. Ten participants were paired with a peer partner, used activity trackers, attended online exercise classes, and watched educational videos over 8 weeks. Researchers wanted to see if this supportive approach was practical and could improve physical activity, mood, and motivation.
