First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 28, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether having a peer mentor makes it easier for young people aged 16-24 with eating disorders to switch from youth to adult treatment. About 64 participants from three Canadian provinces will be paired with a mentor for 3-6 months. The goal is to see if this support is helpful and practical, not to cure the disorder.
