Can teens teaching teens help control asthma?
NCT ID NCT06392490
Summary
This study tested whether an online education program about asthma, delivered by either trained teen peers or adults, could help other teenagers better manage their condition. It involved 48 adolescents with asthma, aged 14-17, who were split into groups to receive the peer-led program, the adult-led program, or no program. Researchers measured changes in the teens' quality of life, asthma control, knowledge, and confidence in managing their health.
