New hope for kids with Hard-to-Treat tumors: targeted radiation therapy trial opens

Summary

This study tests a radioactive drug called Lu-177 edotreotide in children aged 2 to 17 with tumors that have a specific marker (SSTR). The goal is to find the right dose and check if it is safe. About 20 children whose tumors came back or did not respond to prior treatment will take part.
