Study compares survival rates for kids with leukemia across two treatment eras
NCT ID NCT03165851
Summary
This study looked back at the results of two different treatment plans for children with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Researchers compared an older chemotherapy plan (CAMS-2005) with a newer, more intensive one (CAMS-2009) used from 2009 to 2015. The goal was to see if the newer, risk-based strategy led to better survival and longer periods without the cancer returning.
