First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested whether a short, fast-paced educational method called Pecha Kucha (20 seconds per slide) could improve recovery after cataract surgery. 61 adults were split into two groups: one got the Pecha Kucha lesson before surgery, the other got standard care. Researchers measured recovery quality using a questionnaire. The goal was to see if this simple teaching approach could help patients feel better and recover more smoothly.
