Blood RNA clues may unlock heart failure mysteries
NCT ID NCT02632656
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at tiny pieces of genetic material (called extracellular RNA) in the blood of people with congestive heart failure. Researchers want to see if these RNA levels are linked to changes in heart structure and future heart problems. The study follows 400 adults who are receiving standard treatment for heart failure. It does not test a new treatment, but aims to find better ways to predict and understand the disease.
