Summary

This study looked at which of two oral chemotherapy drugs (Xeloda or UFT with folinic acid) people with advanced colorectal cancer prefer. After trying both treatments in a crossover design, patients chose their favorite. The study also checked how safe each drug was. 89 adults with locally advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer took part.
