Summary
This study aims to understand how older cancer patients' awareness, attitudes, and expectations change before and after major surgery. Researchers interview 100 patients aged 65+ undergoing procedures like colon or brain tumor removal. The goal is to learn how patients' understanding of their illness and treatment preferences might shift after surgery and intensive care.
