Skin patch tested to stop unwanted bleeding from birth control implants

NCT ID NCT07083635

Summary

This study is testing whether a hormonal skin patch can stop irregular vaginal bleeding in women who are using a contraceptive implant. Researchers will compare the active patch to a placebo (inactive) patch in 40 participants over a 21-day treatment period. The main goal is to see if the patch can effectively stop the bleeding and keep it stopped for at least two weeks.
