Groundbreaking diabetes drug enters first human safety trials

Summary
This is the very first study testing a new diabetes drug called PATAS in humans. Researchers will give single injections to 56 healthy volunteers to check for side effects and see how the drug moves through the body. The main goal is to determine if PATAS is safe enough for future testing in people with diabetes.
