First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looked at 128 people with severe tooth decay and nerve damage to see if a stronger or weaker bleach solution works better for cleaning and stopping bleeding during a partial pulpotomy (removing the top part of the tooth's nerve). Participants received either 5% or 3% sodium hypochlorite during the procedure. The main goal was to check how well the tooth healed and if patients had less pain afterward.
