First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests a new PET scan tracer (18F-FluorThanatrace) to measure PARP-1 protein levels in people with rare adrenal tumors called pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma. About 30 adults will get one scan before their planned surgery or treatment. The results are only for research and won't change their medical care. The goal is to learn more about these tumors, not to treat them.
