Summary
This study explores whether the gut's nervous system can reveal early signs of Parkinson's disease. Researchers will analyze gut tissue and microbiome samples from 60 people aged 45-75 during routine colonoscopies. The goal is to find biomarkers that reflect brain changes, not to treat the disease.
