Summary

This study tests whether a 10-week home exercise program, delivered through eHealth technology, can improve walking, physical activity, and quality of life in people with mild-to-moderate Parkinson's disease. The program combines motor and cognitive exercises tailored to each person. Participants are compared to those who receive only a standard exercise leaflet without ongoing support.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
motor-cognitive home exercise program supported by eHealth technology
What this could lead to
If effective, this approach could offer a practical, scalable way for people with Parkinson's to improve mobility and daily function from home.
What could go wrong
This is a relatively small, early-stage trial without blinding, so results may not be conclusive or generalizable. The intervention requires consistent participation and technology access.
