Summary
This study is testing whether a medication called carvedilol, typically used for heart conditions and high blood pressure, can slow the progression of Parkinson's disease. It involves 15 people who have a high-risk sleep disorder (REM sleep behavior disorder) and other early signs of Parkinson's. Researchers will use brain and heart scans over three years to see if the drug slows the loss of brain cells involved in movement.
