Scientists map the Brain's 'Mood Swings' in Parkinson's
NCT ID NCT07404241
Summary
This study aims to understand the brain signals behind the changing movement and mood symptoms in Parkinson's disease. Researchers will record brain activity from 30 patients who have a deep brain stimulator, while they take their regular Parkinson's medication. The goal is to find patterns in brain signals that could one day help improve treatments, but this study itself does not test a new treatment.
