Scientists map brain activity to unlock Parkinson's walking mystery

NCT ID NCT06588920

Summary

This study aims to understand the connection between brain activity, thinking skills, and walking ability in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will observe 70 participants—both healthy older adults and those with Parkinson's—while they walk and perform mental tasks. The goal is to learn how the brain manages walking and thinking at the same time, which could inform future therapies.
