Doctors' offices coach parents to build brighter futures for kids
NCT ID NCT02459327
Summary
This study tested a program in pediatric clinics to help low-income parents support their child's early development and school readiness. Researchers combined two coaching methods: video feedback during doctor visits and optional home visits for families facing extra challenges. They measured if this approach improved parenting skills, the home environment, and children's social, emotional, and learning skills by age three.
