NCT ID NCT05598970

First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested whether digital tools and small cash payments can help parents in Tanzania give their children a stronger start in life. Over 3,500 pregnant women were split into groups: some received parenting tips via phone, some got cash transfers, some got both, and some got neither. The goal was to see if these approaches improve children's thinking, language, and nutrition by age 15 months.
