NCT ID NCT05272956

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tested if having parents control a syringe to feed their premature baby (instead of using a machine) encourages them to spend more time in the neonatal unit. It involved 72 premature infants born between 30 and 34 weeks. The main goal was to compare how many hours parents were present under each feeding method.
