First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether parents can learn a special massage technique (called pediatric tuina) to help their children aged 3-7 with functional dyspepsia, a condition causing long-term stomach pain without a clear cause. Half of the 50 families will get training in the massage and continue usual care, while the other half only receive usual care. The goal is to see if the massage is practical and improves symptoms, eating, sleep, and quality of life over 8 weeks.
