New program aims to arm parents with skills to help traumatized kids

Summary
This study is testing a brief telehealth program called Project Support, designed to help parents while their child is on a waitlist for trauma therapy. It teaches parents skills to listen to and comfort their child. Researchers will compare this program to usual care to see if it improves parents' confidence and reduces family distress before formal therapy begins.
