Can a Parent's calm make a Child's ADHD better?

NCT ID NCT05299814

Summary

This study is trying to understand if a parent's ability to manage their own emotions influences how effective a standard parenting course is for children with ADHD. Researchers will enroll 65 parents of children aged 5-12 with ADHD and some oppositional behaviors. Parents will complete questionnaires and brain activity tests to measure their emotional regulation before and after an 8-session parenting program, to see if it predicts their child's improvement.
