Summary

This study tests a parent coaching program for parents of teens (ages 12-18) hospitalized for suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts, or self-harm. Parents receive coaching on safety planning and parenting skills, plus help connecting to follow-up care. The goal is to see if this extra support improves teen outcomes, such as reducing suicidal thoughts and self-harm.
