Summary

This study looks at whether parents reading picture books to their preterm babies in the hospital can help the babies' hearts and lungs stay stable, lower parents' anxiety, and improve the bond between parent and child. About 88 preterm infants and their parents will take part, with some reading together and others not. The goal is to see if this simple activity can make a difference in newborn care.
