First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether doing physical activities together (parent and child) helps children with autism spectrum disorder become more active and improve their motor skills. 40 children aged 4 to 11 took part in an 8-week program. Some children exercised with a parent, some exercised without a parent, and a control group did not exercise. The goal was to see if parent involvement made a difference in activity levels and movement abilities.
