First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This early-phase trial tests whether adding papaverine (a drug that relaxes blood vessels) to precise, high-dose radiation therapy is safe and helps control non-small cell lung cancer or lung tumors that have spread from other cancers. About 19 adults with tumors 5 cm or smaller will receive the combination. The main goal is to find the best dose of papaverine and check for side effects.
