Summary
This study tests whether giving a low-dose pancreatic enzyme along with a nutritional supplement drink helps older adults (70+) who are malnourished or at risk of malnutrition absorb nutrients better. The trial involves 20 hospitalized participants and measures changes in blood amino acid levels after the drink. The goal is to see if this combination can improve how the body uses nutrients from food.
