First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study aimed to find biological markers (biomarkers) in pancreatic tumor cells and blood that could help predict how well a patient might respond to treatment. Researchers analyzed genetic and protein information from tumor samples collected via ultrasound-guided biopsy, as well as from blood samples. The goal was to better understand pancreatic cancer and potentially improve future treatment decisions. 274 adults with suspected pancreatic cancer took part.
