First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study aims to find substances in the blood that can tell the difference between cancerous and non-cancerous pancreatic lesions. Currently, no simple blood test exists for pancreatic cancer diagnosis. Researchers will compare blood samples from 100 people with benign pancreatic conditions to existing data from patients with malignant lesions. The goal is to create a reliable test that could guide treatment without needing invasive procedures.
