New vaccine approach tested in fight against advanced pancreatic cancer

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new experimental tumor vaccine, given as a shot in the muscle, in combination with standard chemotherapy (the AG regimen) for people with metastatic pancreatic cancer who have not yet had treatment. The main goals are to check the safety of different vaccine doses and see if the combination shows any early signs of helping to shrink tumors. The study will enroll about 13 participants who are new to treatment for their advanced cancer.
